Although dolphins are not
the only non-human beings to catalyze shifts
in the consciousness of humanity, they are,
in my opinion one of most powerful change
agents of the natural world.
Tales of dolphin-human interactions throughout
history, including rescues at sea of drowning
humans, speak to the willingness of dolphins
to be available to human needs.
In the nearly 13 years of facilitating wild
dolphin swims, I have worked with dolphins
who are making themselves available to the
psycho-emotional-spiritual needs of humans.
It has been the most beautiful, transformative work I've ever done.
There are only a few places in the world where pods of dolphins have chosen to
interact with people in a very intimate way. This means anything from letting boats
get close enough to enter the pod space and hang out with them for long periods of
time, or riding the bow and making very deliberate attempts to have eye contact with
the ecstatic humans hanging over the bow, as shown in the photo above, to actually
letting people get in the water and swim with them - often side by side, eye to eye. I
have had encounters with dolphins where they stayed with us for hours, swimming with
us non-stop until we couldn't swim anymore, reluctantly leaving them to get back on
the boat, exhausted but blissful. We are swimming in open water; these beings are
free to leave when they want, yet they choose to stay and offer us this time with
them...over and over, with group after group of people, day after day, all season. This
website is dedicated to the exploration of why these beings are doing this, how we can
make ourselves available to their gifts, why humanity needs to be paying more
attention to our relationships with the non-human world, and some thoughts and ideas
about how we might go about co-creating better relationships with our planet, each
other, the Cetacean Nation, and all other sentient beings.

| They call themselves the Ancient Ones. They are Masters of the Mysteries of the heart. They understand living in an earthly form where the veils of forgetting do not exist. They come in service to humankind...so we may remember. The journey to the spirit of the dolphins begins with the call. The call may come from within or without. It may come from your own heart, or it may come from the dolphin spirit...telling you it's time. Time to awaken. And they bring their presence into your life, showing you the way. And so you begin the journey. In their eyes you recognize a very high consciousness. You know you are being seen to your most deep and essential self, and accepted completely and unconditionally. Know how worthy you are of this. In their presence you know a quality of love and belonging that seems like an ancient memory; something vague, yet familiar and longed for. You feel a sense of belonging to something bigger than your self, a sense of completeness, knowing what you belong to...soul family, Spirit, God, The Creator. You understand the dolphins feel this every moment of their lives. It is your birthright to feel it to. Know they want us to feel as love-filled in our own presence as we are in theirs.
